Description: Atlanticview is very well situated high atop of fashionable Camps Bay with magnificent views.
We are 2 min by car from the famous Camps Bay beaches and many fine world class restaurants, 10 min to the city and
The V&A Waterfront. Table Mountain cable car is just 5 min drive from us. Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens are just 15-20 minutes and The winelands 30-45 minutes.
Our property is fairly new, very well appointed and built/designed around the views.
There are two stylish villas connected together by a 9 metre bridge. The Main Villa comprising of 5 rooms or mini-suites and the Suites villa hosting 4 large luxury suites.
All 5 stylish rooms/mini-suites plus the 4 large luxury suites are air-conditioned and non-smoking with fridges/mini-bars, safes, robes, digital telephones, internet connections, TV's, Satellite channels, In-house DVD channels etc.
All rooms and suites have a balcony or deck area with table, chairs and spectacular views! Our main villa is surrounded with travertine decks that step right down to our beautiful salt water infinity rim flow pool hosting views in all directions. Our new suites, ocean facing gym and massage room have stunning views as well.
There are even TV's built into the Technogym cardiovascular machines!
We have only the best and were the first in The Western Cape to have this new equipment. We of course created the perfect Infinity pool to go with our new suites.
Our room/mini-suite rates include a full English breakfast served in traditional African dress. Our suite rates include a deluxe continental breakfast showered in rose petals delivered to your door. Full English Breakfast is available in the suites on request. You may enjoy this in your dining room or on the balcony weather permitting. All room and suite rates include evening aperitifs with hors d'oeuvres whilst watching those magnificent southern Atlantic sunsets.
We feature a selection of fine locally produced wines from our private cellar together with some yummy local delicacies. Our guests really enjoy this and we are generous with our wines.
So if you enjoy great food and wines in a stylish, understated elegant atmosphere with fabulous views...........you have found the right place!
The Penguin colony and Cape Point are just under an hour away. You can even have a close encounter with a cheetah at Spier followed by a wine tasting and lunch. This is only 35-45 minutes drive.... (and yes, you may pet them!) They are also known to be surprise guests at our property from time to time! We are right on the Green Belt/nature reserve which makes these views even more breathtaking. The odd Mongoose or Guinea Fowl can be seen from time to time playing in the bushes or scurrying along our perimeter walls. Once in a while at certain times of the year you can see dolphins and whales from our balcony. The siting is rare but it does happen. Many of these delightful creatures prefer the other side of the peninsula where the water is warmer. There is plenty of off street parking. Transportation is plentiful should you not wish to drive and there are many daily tours that will collect and drop you off at our door. You may request a list of these tours as they can be pre-booked with your room reservation.
We have been featured in Fine Living magazine a 6-page spread + front cover! You may see the whole feature or any of this publicity on our web site. We were seen in House and Leisure plus featured in the Travel section of British national newspaper "The Guardian" where they rated us tops and said we stretch the definition of guest house! In October of 2005 we have been featured (a 10-page spread) in the book "Cool Hotels of Africa" on sale in book stores around the globe. We are delighted that they have chosen us for their publication and very proud to have been invited to join the Boutique Hotels and Resorts International Collection plus Portfolio's top of the line book of hotels called "Country Places". Conde Nast Traveler magazine who featured us in March 06' said we were one of the "Best Value Small Hotels in Cape Town". At the very beginning I had set out to make Atlanticview different than the rest. To see couples enjoying this magnificent property in such a beautiful setting, to have received this recognition in the press coupled together with the wonderful guests comments and friends we have made over the years make all our efforts worthwhile. I speak on behalf of myself and the Atlanticview team.
**Please note that we do not allow children into the villa under any circumstances and are "Couples Only". This assures our guests of a little peace and quiet plus a relaxing holiday with us. Single adults traveling with family or friends are more than welcome!
Rates include the use of our New Gym, Breakfasts and in the evenings, a generous amount of Quality wines with Hors-d'oeuvres during sunset! There are no hidden taxes and rates are for the room/suite, NOT per person.
